Hi, and welcome to the Argot Language Learning App Argot User Guide. The first time you open the app, you’ll be taken to a screen where you choose the language you speak. You can change this anytime. Here we’re going to say, “I speak English.”.

Now it’s time to log in to continue learning. If you don’t have an account, it’s time to sign up.

So click the signup and add your name.

And then add your email.

After that, you want to add a phone number.

And lastly, you choose a password.

Once you’ve done that, it’s time to select your date of birth.

And then, before you register, read and accept the terms and conditions. These are also available on the argot.ai website.

Once you’re happy with the terms and conditions, press the bottom arrow to go back and then tick the box to say you’ve read and accepted them.

Then you click the register button and you’re able then to use the email you created and the password to log in to Argot.

If you forget the password at any time, there’s a button there that will send an email to the address you created.

Once you’ve added the email and password again, you can log in, and this takes you into the Argot app.

So we have a choice of languages to learn. We can learn French, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, or Hindi.

Today we’re going to choose to learn Japanese. We can choose from the Romaji, Kana, or Japanese versions. I’ve chosen this full Japanese.

The language has changed, and now we have a choice between the general English language lessons or vocabulary lessons.

I’ve clicked on the general English language, and you can see that there are in the free trial several unlocked lessons.

Each of these contains 10 units, which you can work on.

In the vocabulary section. We also have some free sections, such as animals and food. So you can try Argot out.

So that’s a very brief introduction to how to get going on Argot.

In the next video, we’ll take you through the reading, listening, speaking, and exercises to enable you to understand how to get more out of the Argot platform.
